On behalf of the STBA Junior Development Subcommittee, the STBA are hosting a fundraising Quiz Night at the STBA hall. The purpose of the subcommittee is to develop a plan to engage more junior players, create local pathways, and ensure there are opportunities to develop the skills of players to reach their goals. This Quiz Night is aiming to start fundraising for these goals.
The quiz will be held on the 5th August, with a 7PM for 7.30PM start, aiming to finish up around 10.30PM.
There will be limited spots available, so make sure you get in fast. When you book, you can either pay for 1 seat or you can pay for the entire table (8 seats), and it will be sold on a first-in first-served basis. Tickets are $20 each, but you will receive a $20 discount for full table bookings. We aren’t accepting payments online, so please make sure to finalise your booking in reception.
We will provide nibbles for each table, but please feel free to bring your own food or dine out in some of the wonderful eateries in South Hobart before you come.
The bar will be open, and we will have a small selection of drinks to buy. The vending machines will be in operation for non-alcoholic drinks, but you can also bring these if you want. There is to be no BYO alcohol.
There will be 10 rounds, and questions will vary depending on the topics. We will try to incorporate various forms of questions including audio/visual as well as standard written questions.
