1 – What has the STBA done to deal with the challenges the COVID-19 pandemic has posed?
We have developed a COVID-19 Safety Plan (this is available for anyone to view upon request at [email protected] or if you ask at the reception).
2 – What measures did the Safety Plan impose upon the centre?
The measures we have implemented include, but are not limited to:
- Added hand sanitising stations at the entry to the building and to each court,
- Markers for social distancing all throughout the centre
- Additional signage regarding Best COVID-19 Safety Practices
- Check-In Tas App QR Codes throughout the building
3 – How do I hire a casual court at the centre?
Our online booking system is used to manage player bookings. Please note that bookings must be paid up front in full and we do not accept bookings over the phone.
4 – Can I just come to the centre and play?
We do accept walk-in players to the centre, however this is subject to availability. Booking in advance is strongly encouraged to avoid disappointment at peak times.
5 – Can I hire racquets and buy shuttles?
Yes, shuttles are sold $3.75 for a single shuttle or $45.00 for a tube. Racquets can be hired for $5.00 each and do not need to be reserved in advance.
Please note that due to our high volume of sales, we cannot guarantee that a particular brand of shuttle will be in stock on a given day
6 – Can I take photos of others?
Photography of players withour prior consent is prohibited in the centre.
